About the SYSL token

Deployed on the Syscoin Blockchain, the $SYSL token has been a part and parcel of the SYSLink_DAO project. This is one of its many features which will serve as a mechanism for completing payments, earning staking rewards and engaging in governance.

Purpose: Serves as the native token for staking and platform governance.

Use Cases: Vendors pay listing fees in $SYSL for discounts; staking $SYSL will unlock staking reward tiers.

Mechanics: Users lock up $SYSL in a staking contract; rewards are distributed periodically based on staked size/duration.
